2004 CHEVROLET EQUINOX
START-TO-FINISH PRODUCT DESIGN
There is no more complex design brief than the interior of an automobile, regardless of traditionally piloted or autonomous.
I have excelled for the majority of my 26+ year career in “organizing the chaos” that can be a part of designing an interior.
Starting with customer research and packaging variables, I have exhibited the insight and savvy to attentively listen to the Voice of the Customer. I have also shown the ability to filter out the relevant wants and needs of the target customer. This “filter” is necessary because the customer only knows what is available to them now.
The design team’s task is to take what is possible in the vehicle development time frame and apply it to the customers’ wishes and intentions. The result MUST be iconic, memorable and futuristic, each and every time.
