LIGHTING LAB + SHOWROOM
WORKING THROUGH THE SYSTEM TO ENABLE A LIGHTING SHOWROOM
As technologies and suppliers for lighting and light pipes increased, I identified a need to create a space where those technologies could be exhibited and shown, to any level person whom might want to see. When there was a renovation of the GM Electrical crib (increased number of vehicle electricians from 3 to 7) I created a floor plan that illustrated how multiple sets of mock-ups could be stored and displayed in the same area. The “showroom” had built-in power sources for multiple accesses & both AC and DC currents.
